Diaceutics Makes Four Senior Management Appointments

VP Chief of Staff, VP of Human Resources, VP of Engagement Solutions and VP of Real-World Data

New appointments will further strengthen management team and drive continued innovation, performance & growth at Diaceutics

These appointments are another significant step in the company's ongoing commitment to driving innovation, performance and growth. The new Vice President’s - Madeline Brown, Norma Thompson, Gosia Leitch, and Scott Phillips bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles and will add significant strength to the  Diaceutics' leadership team.

Madeline Brown, VP, Chief of Staff

Madeline Brown has been with Diaceutics since 2007 and has played a pivotal role in the company’s continued performance and growth during that time. With extensive commercial experience across various geographies and industries, her experience and passion lie in scaling operations and maximizing company potential by streamlining processes, motivating people, promoting culture, and strengthening business relationships. Her hands-on operational leadership and ability to manage a diverse portfolio in an innovative environment make her an invaluable asset to Diaceutics.

Madeline has significantly contributed to Diaceutics’ success in previous roles -  initially in Finance from 2007 to 2020, managing International Treasury and Global Payroll, as well as being responsible for financial policies and procedures, VAT and other financial reporting obligations. In 2020, Madeline transitioned to a role as Strategic Project Manager where she is  a trusted advisor within the Executive Team. In these roles, she consistently demonstrated exceptional strategic insight and financial acumen, driving key initiatives that have solidified Diaceutics’ market position in precision medicine, helping pharma find patients.

In her new post, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, she will leverage her deep commercial expertise and intimate knowledge of the company to drive efficiencies and scalability. She will establish Diaceutics' new Chief Executive’s Office, ensuring the creation of agile, efficient teams focused on executing strategic and innovative priorities across the organization.

Madeline’s proven track record of strategic foresight and her ability to execute complex initiatives make her an exemplary candidate for VP Chief of Staff. With her keenly attuned understanding of Diaceutics’ operations and an exceptional ability to anticipate future trends and developments, her new role will reinforce her reputation as a transformative leader and an indispensable force behind Diaceutics’ continued growth, innovation and market leadership.

Norma Thompson, VP of Human Resources

Norma Thompson has been an integral part of Diaceutics since January 2019, initially serving as the Global Head of Human Resources. With over 30 years of experience, she has consistently demonstrated excellence in driving the people, culture, and HR agendas across organisations of varying sizes. Her expertise spans vision & strategy development, HR efficiency and operational delivery, talent management, development &  acquisition and global mobility. Norma's extensive knowledge of employment legislation across multiple countries is essential for a global company like Diaceutics. She has effectively collaborated with various internal and external stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary teams to successful project completions and establishing best practices that have streamlined operations and boosted employee engagement.

Before joining Diaceutics, Norma spent 29 years in Health & Social Care in Northern Ireland, where she held numerous HR roles. Her notable achievements include managing the revalidation and registration processes for the General Medical Council and Nursing & Midwifery Council, overseeing fitness to practice cases for over 5,000 healthcare professionals. This experience proves her ability to handle complex regulatory environments and deliver critical HR functions with precision and care.

Norma holds a master’s degree in human resource management and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She also possesses a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and an Honors Degree in Business Studies. Her academic background, combined with her extensive practical experience, underscores her ability to lead HR initiatives that drive organisational success.

Her strategic vision, coupled with her ability to foster a positive and productive workplace culture, positions her as a transformative leader who is an indispensable asset to the Diaceutics executive team.

Gosia Leitch, VP of Engagement Solutions

Gosia Leitch joins Diaceutics with over 20 years of distinguished experience in the diagnostics and pharma industry, specializing in brand management, strategy, commercial marketing, and sales management. Her impressive background combines scientific expertise with strong business acumen and commercial leadership. In her previous roles, Gosia served as Head of Global Commercial Marketing at Veracyte, where she led impactful marketing strategies that significantly advanced the company’s market presence. At Abbott, she excelled as Portfolio Director of Strategic Marketing, steering key initiatives that drove portfolio growth and strategic alignment. Her strategic roles at Qiagen, Bayer Healthcare and SC Johnson further showcase her ability to navigate complex market dynamics and deliver robust commercial outcomes.

Gosia holds a master’s degree in biochemistry and an MBA. Additionally, she completed an executive education program in strategy at Columbia Business School, enhancing her strategic thinking and leadership capabilities. In her role as VP of Engagement Solutions at Diaceutics, Gosia will leverage her extensive experience to drive engagement strategies that connect diagnostics with the broader healthcare ecosystem. Her strategic vision and commercial leadership will be instrumental in developing and implementing forward-thinking strategies that align with Diaceutics’ goals and market needs. Gosia’s patient-centric focus and innovative approach will guide the development and delivery of Diaceutics’ solutions, ensuring that Diaceutics’ innovations translate into real-world benefits for patients.

Scott Phillips, VP of Real-World Data

Scott Phillips brings over 12 years of diverse experience in real-world data, product development, strategy consulting, and business development within the healthcare sector. His career has been dedicated to driving the adoption of innovative digital solutions and strategies within the pharma and biotech industries.

Prior to joining Diaceutics, Scott served as VP of Data Strategy at Komodo Health, where he launched and scaled the company's linked data offering, MapEnhance. His leadership was instrumental in evaluating and partnering with Komodo's extensive data network, encompassing claims, genomics, laboratory, and EHR data types. At COTA Healthcare, Scott excelled as Vice President of Life Sciences, where he assisted clients in leveraging real-world data to enhance clinical research, accelerate drug development, and improve oncology trial design.

Scott’s extensive background also includes pivotal roles at Huma, where he played a key role in raising brand awareness and forging strategic partnerships during their expansion into the US. His tenure at CVS Health and his experience as a consultant further solidified his expertise in the healthcare domain.

Scott holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Brown University, combining rigorous academic training with practical industry knowledge. In his new role as VP of Real-World Data at Diaceutics, Scott will leverage his extensive experience to enhance our data strategy and drive the integration of real-world evidence into our product offerings. His strategic vision and commercial leadership will be crucial in advancing Diaceutics' mission to provide precision medicine solutions.
